Third Sunday visited Patkicha Pada and Taricha Pada in Kasara on 21st January 2024.

In this activity, we had arranged,

• Medical camp for all age groups wherein, general health checkup was conducted by our volunteer doctors, Dr. Harshada, Dr. Manali & Dr. Dakshata. They showed great efforts to cover up to 120+ people in the area.
• A seminar regarding usage of sanitary pads and its benefits was conducted by our doctors and female volunteers, wherein information on why it is important and necessary, how it can be helpful and the benefits of using it were shared and explained in simple ways.
• We also distributed sanitary pads among all the ladies of Patkicha Pada & Taricha Pada.
• As per our survey there were limited educational resources in the area. We donated books, toys, stationary items, sports items and weight machines to the children of schools & Anganwadis.
• Survey for other Adivasi Padas was also done by Third Sunday team to ascertain scope of necessary support in future.

Overall it was a great event with great Co-ordination and response from our Third Sunday volunteers.
