Third Sunday has successfully completed visit Palatpada located near Ganeshpuri, Taluka Wada on 15th January, 2023. Palatpada is surrounded by Usgoan Dam and Tungareshwar Forest area.

In this activity, we have arranged, A Medical Camp For Children, Ladies and Gents, Wherein General Health Checkup was conducted by our Volunteers Dr. Swarna Shelke, Dr. Makarand Jha & Dr. Manoj Thadani. They have shown great efforts to cover up 100+ people in the Area.

A Seminar on usage of Sanitary pads was conducted by our Doctors and Female Volunteers wherein information on, Why it is important & necessary, how it can be helpful etc was shared. We have also distributed Sanitary Pads among all the Ladies of Palatpada.

To reach Palatpada, People living in this location have to walk (at least 45 min) or take a boat across the dam. We have provided 10 Life Jackets so they can be used while travelling in a boat.

As per our survey, there was no light available in this locality. Keeping in mind the need of Electricity, We have provided 10 No of Solar Light Systems

Donated school stationary for 40+ students Goods worth ₹50,000.

Overall it was a great event with great Co-ordination and Response from our Third Sunday Volunteers.
